TO THE FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS OF MARION COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI
You are hereby notified that the Board of Supervisors of Marion County, Mississippi, will receive sealed bids or proposals at the Boardroom of the Marion County Board of Supervisors, 215 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi 39429, until the hour of 10:00 o’clock A.M., on Monday, January 4, 2021, from the financial institutions of Marion County, Mississippi, for the privilege of keeping County funds or a portion thereof for a period of two (2) years from and after said date, in accordance with the provisions of Section 27-105-305 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended. Financial institutions submitting proposals must meet the qualifications established by Section 27-105-315, et. seq., of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended. The successful bidder(s) must be issued a Commission under Section 27-105-11 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended before receipt of county deposits, as required by 27-105-317 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, as amended.
Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “DEPOSITORY BID.”
Only bids submitted on the proper bid form will be considered. Bid forms may be obtained from the Marion County Chancery Clerk, Marion County Courthouse, 250 Broad Street, Suite 2, Columbia, Mississippi 39429, or from the Marion County Board of Supervisors, 215 Broad Street, Columbia, Mississippi 39429.
The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
