NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
District Two Harmony Road Improvements Project
Sealed bids will be received by the Marion County Board of Supervisors, 215 Broad Street, columbia, Mississippi until 10:00 o'clock A. M. (CST) on May 14, 2019 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for:

Plans and Contract Documents are on file in the office of the Marion County Board of Supervisors, Columbia, Mississippi.  Plans and proposals may be secured upon payment $100.00, which is not refundable, from the office of Dungan Engineering, P.A., 1574 Highway 98 East, Columbia, Mississippi 39429.  Bidders choosing to submit electronically are required to contact the Marion County Board of Supervisors at (601) 736-1232 for information regarding electronic bidding requirements.
 
Bidders shall bid and the award, if made, will be made to the lowest, qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities.  However, the Marion County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
 
A bid bond or certified check int he amount of 5% of the bid will be required.  The bid bond or certified check will be returned immediately to unsuccessful bidders.  Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposals will not be considered in making the award.
 
A performance bond, or equal, in the full amount of the contract will be required of the successful bidder.  In lieu of a performance bond the successful bidder may post with the Marion County Board of Supervisors, the full amount of the bid, in cash or its equivalent, conditioned for the prompt, proper and efficient performance of the contract; said cash or its equivalent to be held until the successful completion of the project.
 
Attention is called to the fact that contracts exceeding $50,000 require contractors to be licensed under applicable laws of the State of Mississippi and have a certificate of responsiblity.

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE OF INTENT
Construction Notice of Intent Project No. ERBR-LSBP-46(15) Marion County, Mississippi.  The Board of Supervisors of Marion County, Mississippi, are planning a Bridge Replacement Project on 0.151 miles of Old River Road South over Dillon Creek in District 5.  This project is funded by a special fund created by the Mississippi Legislature known as the Emergency Road and Bridge Repair Fund.  Bids will be opened in public and read aloud on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, on or after 10:00 A. M., CST in the County Supervisor's Board Room, 215 Broad Street in Columbia, Mississippi.  Plans and Specifications are on file in the office of the Marion County Chancery Clerk, Columbia, Mississipppi.  Plans and proposals may be secured upon payment of $100.00 which is not refundable, from the office of Dungan Engineering, P.
